Setting up a Manitoba Courier Account

Overview of the service

Canadian Customs Brokerage accounts help Canadian and non-Canadian businesses import into Canada.

Here are the steps to follow as you set-up a Manitoba Courier account

  1. When the client confirms they want to use Frontier you will send them a credit application .
  2. If applicable, client should sign contract confirming volume they will give us.
  3. Once credit application is complete > send to Accounting/A/R
  4. Determine official start date with client
  5. Complete Client-Profile– get ISR assigned if applicable, however most MB Courier accounts are under Team 3 with no specific ISR
  6. Set up internal implementation meeting, approximately 1 week before start date
  7. Complete Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in advance of implementation meeting (if larger account and applicable)
  8. Have Team 3 set-up WebSHIP, obtain log-in information
  9. The BDM should complete instruction guide for client, or similar type of document if no SOP
  10. Hold implementation meeting > gather questions from team
  11. Approach new client with questions from implementation meeting, offer WebSHIP demo and provide if needed
  12. Introduce main contacts between the client and Frontier on or day before start date
