Setting up a Manitoba Courier Account
Overview of the service
Canadian Customs Brokerage accounts help Canadian and non-Canadian businesses import into Canada.
Here are the steps to follow as you set-up a Manitoba Courier account
- When the client confirms they want to use Frontier you will send them a credit application .
- If applicable, client should sign contract confirming volume they will give us.
- Once credit application is complete > send to Accounting/A/R
- Determine official start date with client
- Complete Client-Profile– get ISR assigned if applicable, however most MB Courier accounts are under Team 3 with no specific ISR
- Set up internal implementation meeting, approximately 1 week before start date
- Complete Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in advance of implementation meeting (if larger account and applicable)
- Have Team 3 set-up WebSHIP, obtain log-in information
- The BDM should complete instruction guide for client, or similar type of document if no SOP
- Hold implementation meeting > gather questions from team
- Approach new client with questions from implementation meeting, offer WebSHIP demo and provide if needed
- Introduce main contacts between the client and Frontier on or day before start date
