John Quirke

Vice President, Trade Consulting

John Quirke is Vice President, Trade Consulting for Frontier Supply Chain Solutions Inc. (Frontier). He has over 30 years of experience in the area of international trade. Areas of expertise include Canada and United States Customs rules and regulations, security initiatives (C-TPAT/PIP), Canada United States Mexico Agreement (CUSMA), and release strategies (CSA/ACI).
John holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario. He has also acquired his P. Log (Professional Logistician) designation from The Logistics Institute; has received his certificate in Freight Forwarding from CIFFA (Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association); is recognized as having obtained “professional” status by the Canada Border Services Agency, is a Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) and Certified Trade Compliance Specialist (CTCS) as designated by the Canadian Society of Customs Brokers.
John has conducted training and educational seminars across Canada and the United States. He has spoken on behalf of an array of Associations including I.E. Canada and Infonex.

Jing Wang

Compliance Specialist

Jing Wang is a graduate of the University of Winnipeg with a double Major in Mathematics and Statistics.  She joined Frontier in 2010 as an Integrated Service Rep (ISR) and within a year was promoted to Second in Command (2IC).  About a year later, Jing was promoted again to Account Manager in charge of Frontier’s largest customs brokerage account.

In 2015, Jing joined the compliance department as a Compliance Specialist, where she continues to excel today.  She is a Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) in good standing since 2012; her areas of expertise range from a complete understanding of brokerage operations to compliance activities such as tariff classification, free trade agreements and more.

Sandra Gibbs-Oswin

Compliance Specialist

Sandra Gibbs is a product of Sir Sanford Fleming College’s Customs and International Trade program.  To fulfill graduation requirements Sandra completed a placement with Canada Customs HQ in Ottawa.  She then worked on contract with them in the trade agreement section.   Sandra next moved to the private sector joining a customs brokerage firm also in Ottawa, specializing in tariff classification and the production of large refund projects.

After relocating to Southern Ontario, she was employed by Unicity Customs Brokers (Unicity) as an Operational Account Manager.  Sandra eventually moved into the Consulting Department with Unicity, ultimately to Frontier where she continues to excels today.  She completed her Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) obtaining the second highest mark in the country. Sandra is well versed in all areas of consulting as well as an expertise with the Customs Self-Assessment (CSA) program.
