Frontier yearly initiative is back! This year we support local communities. Please follow weekly update by email from HR team or here at Frontier U.

Many teams are finalizing and/or coordinating their contributions with their
organization/charity. Next week we will send out a report to all… sharing in our overall successes in supporting our respective communities. Please save any photos to the server so we can look back at this challenge in future years. The chart below is our final tally of the money raised by team. When ready please send the completed expense reports to my attention so we can process for reimbursement.

Week #4 contest = November 27 – December 03, 2023 (Sophos Security Awareness Training)
Contest 4: $5 for completed SOPHOS Security Awareness Training. Complete by Sunday Dec 03, 2023 by 6:00pm Central Time (extended to allow part weekend staff to participate). Team $$ announced on Monday Dec 04, 2023.
Week #4’s contest focuses on keeping our network and programs safe.
Network and systems safety can be improved if we are aware of the various types of possible threats and how our actions can prevent their intrusion….. or allow these threats to get in.
Frontier uses SOPHOS Central security systems. SOPHOS has security awareness training which has been assigned to all employees with a Frontier email address.
Every employee that completes this week’s assigned training will receive $5 towards their team pot.
The results of the Sophos Training will be shared tomorrow. We are analyzing all the responses and will share the updated chart December 7th.
Many teams are anxious to begin using their winnings so we will try and not delay too much longer!
A reminder…. You may begin using any of the earned winnings/$$ now and do not need to wait until the end of the challenge. Submit an expense report to your manager or HR and we will have processed on the Dec 15th payroll (or Dec 29th if needed).
Results will be collected by IT Support and forwarded to me on Monday.
Employees will receive a personalized email with a unique link to access the training. Screen shot below.
Notes:
- You must pass the test at the end of the module. If you do not pass, the training is not done and no $$ goes into your team pot.
- Emails will be sent starting tomorrow (Tuesday November 28, 2023).
- Managers who were enrolled (prior to this week) will not get extra $$ for finishing overdue modules.
- Random draws for extra team $$ … pending % participation &/or training completed.

Week #5 contest = December 04 – 10, 2023
Contest 5: $5 for attending / watching company meeting on Thursday December 07, 2023.
Week #5’s contest focuses on keeping current with our corporate business activities, department operational updates, anniversaries, new hires, industry news/changes etc.
Join the company meeting (or watch later) to earn $5.00 towards your team pot.
Option #1: Will attend and watch live…
- Confirm your attendance by accepting the meeting request (sent by Veronika Barvinok). ß sample attached.
- Join the meeting and watch it live on December 07, 2023
- Turn on your camera on so we can verify you are watching.
Option #2: Will attend/decline/tentative but will watch later… (ie. reasons = client service, warehouse work, driving, work weekends, work nights, day off, another meeting etc)
- Confirm your attendance by accepting or declining or tentatively joining the meeting request (sent by Veronika Barvinok) ß sample attached.
- Watch the meeting on Frontier-U by Sunday December 10, 2023.
- Link to the video will be shared to everyone one hour after the meeting concludes.
- Send an email to me (vchan@frontierscs.com) once you have watched the meeting.
- Email must be sent by Sunday December 10, 2023 @ 8:00pm CST.
Results will be collected by Veronika (ie. she will tally who accepts and joins the meeting live, or who declines to watch later etc), and myself (via received email confirming the video was watched).
On Monday Dec 11th, the final $$ tally by team will be shared. Shopping with any accumulated $$ can begin anytime. Submit your expense reports to HR/Payroll for processing.
Notes:
- If you plan to attend live via your Frontier email, we will verify your attendance at the meeting.
- If you attend via a shared meeting room/boardroom etc, we will look for your face. You still should accept via your Frontier email.
- If you are watching together from someone else’s computer… then you can be counted but only if you responded to the meeting from your Frontier email.
- Ie. you and others plan to watch together from Bob’s computer… then you and all the others (plus BOB) need to respond to the invite first.
- If you watch later, you must email me by Sunday Dec 10th at 8pm confirming that the video was watched.
- If you missed the email invite, please have your peer forward the invite… or email Veronika to send to you. (Sample invite above)
If you do not know how to reply to the email invite from Veronika then contact me.
If you can’t find the email invite from Veronika, then contact me and I can help you find it via your calendar.
If you missed the invite and no one can forward to you then contact me and I can forward to you.
